Dear diplomatic friends, sponsors, visitors of the Winter Bazaar, friends and members of the IWC,

Thanks to you all, our Winter Charity Bazaar of the year 2011 was once again a success.

The atmosphere in the beautiful rooms of the Hotel Astoria was charming; the selection of goods and exotic food that was sold on the stalls was amazing – as were the prizes in both of our lotteries. Thanks to Circus Upsala and the Singing Catherinas, we had an enjoyable entertainment program and when you had a glance into the children’s playing room, run by the American Montessori School, you wanted to be a child again. Everywhere you could feel this special “Winter Bazaar Spirit”.

But it was not just this wonderful spirit that made the Bazaar such a success, we also achieved a great financial result, with an increase of 17% over the previous year. This amount of money will allow us to carry on with our charity work during the next 12 months.
