Peter's Tea Thursday 14:00-16:00 for all members and visiting friends.
Contact: Hilda Goos
Every Thursday there is an afternoon Peter’s Tea in one of the member’s homes. It is a charitable and social event that has been done since the start of the IWC in St.Petersburg in 1996.
The whole point of the Peter’s Tea is to raise money for Charity and therefore you pay 100 rubles. But also very important for a lot of us is, that you will meet a lot of old and new friends while sharing a cup of tea and a snack.
A lot of friendships started on a Peter’s Tea!

Contact: Anne-Marie van der Meer
We’re currently 6 women who come together every second Tuesday evening of the month. We discuss the book we all have read in the weeks before the meeting. We want to read novels written by novelists from our home country as well books which tell us more about Russia. Twice a year we decide which books we’ll read in the coming months.
The books we read will cover a broad range, so that we’ll have several genres, writers of several countries. The books you can find at Anglia bookstore (showing an In your Pocket guide you get 15% discount) or at John Parsons, both on the Fontanka or order from Amazon.com

A sort of “"book luncheon"”.  Each member of the book club will alternate hosting the group either at their home or at a local cafe.  The book list has been developed by interested members of the IWC and spans a range of book types from biography to short story collections. The authors include both Western and Russian authors.  There is no limited numbers for this book club
