Vasilievsky island, the place where Peter the Great wanted to create New Amsterdam, digging numerous canals. We will explore by bike the local market, the Lutheran church, the Saint Petersburg State University, the military submarine, the Academy of Fine Arts and get the best view of the Spit of Vasilievsky Island. We will ride through hidden streets and yards and of course make a selfie with mysterious Vasily, who gave the name to the island.
Take this opportunity to see St. Petersburg with an extraordinary view. We will get a two hour tour through the canals while we are paddling a tandem kayak. Don't worry about the paddling, it's even easy for beginners, so you can focus totally on the unusual view of the city.
Warm jackets, life-jackets, a small snack and water are included.
Kids from 14 y.o. are welcome, but only if one of the parents is also joining the tour.
Note that because of safety regulations the tour starts at 6:00 in the morning.
Please sign up before Sunday, September 16th, 23:00.
P.S. The tour is highly recommended by members who already did it!
We have an exciting team who are bursting at the seams to ensure you have a good time!
